Too Short

I’ve only five lines to convey

What Balanchine meant to ballet.

There often was not

A discernible plot,

And that’s all a limerick can say.

Vincenzo Righini (22 January 1756 – 19 August 1812) was an Italian composer, singer and Kapellmeister, who spent most of his creative life in German-speaking countries

Star-Crossed

Righini and Mozart, it’s clear,

Were born the same week, the same year.

It’s very precarious

To rely on Aquarius

To predict the success of your career.
