When Salome loses her veil,

She’s in danger of landing in jail.

The vice squad’s alert

To such prurient dirt,

Even based on a biblical tale.

Will be censored, disparaged, and mocked,

I’m keeping the matter

Of a head on a platter,

And to hell with the easily shocked!”
