Oscar Levant (27 December 1906 – 14 August 1972) was an American concert pianist, composer, conductor, author, radio game show panelist, television talk show host, comedian and actor.

The gods, when deciding to grant

His talents to Oscar Levant,

Were more than free-handed; –

I’d list all the man did,

But I gave it a try, and I can’t.
