Mr. Wilson at Court

Following the execution of the King in 1649 he showed his clearly Royalist sympathies in his Psalterium Carolinum,  -- Wikipedia

John Wilson worked for Charles the First,

A King whose fate ranks with the worst.

John Wilson, though, continued loyal,

And join in courtly dissipation

On Charles the Second’s restoration.
