Johnny Mandel (23 November 1925 – 29 June 2020) was an American composer and arranger of popular songs, film music, and jazz. In spite of winning five Grammys, he is probably best remembered for the them song from M*A*S*H.

Did the fees from the theme song from M*A*S*H,
(Since the film and the show made a S*P*L*A*S*H),
Allow Johnny Mandel
To begin living well
And to pay off his mortgage in C*A*S*H?
