Henny Youngman (16 March 1906 – 24 February 1998) was an English-American comedian who used a violin as an on stage prop. his early career was as a musician.

Take My Fiddle… Please

Henny Youngman, you’ll recall,
Barely played the thing at all.
Telling jokes, then in the middle,
Just a phrase or two on fiddle.
And I’m sure he never had
A fiddle like Jack Benny’s Strad.
