Julian Bream (15 July 1933 – 14 August 2020) was a British classical guitarist and lutenist.

Though his friends thought it quaint and bizarre

When he took up the lute and guitar,

Young Julian Bream

Went after his dream,

And, strange as it seems, was a star.
