Gary Puckett (b. 17 October 1942) is an American rock musician who was briefly popular in the 1960s and early 1970s.

Gary Puckett’s Union Gap

Dressed themselves in Northern blue,

Choosing colors by the map --

Solid, loyal, brave, and true.

Lady Antebellum’s name

Had a stain of Southern gray,

And that is why they changed the same

From what it was to Lady A.
