Frank Sinatra Jr. (10 January 1944 – 16 March 2016)was an American singer, songwriter, actor and conductor.

Hindsight

Sinatra Jr. might have had an easier time establishing himself had he gone into real estate, – Richard Ginell, qtd, in Wikipedia

“I think in my generation, when I came along in the early ’60s, the type of music that was in vogue in society in those days had moved on to another kind of music,” Sinatra told the newspaper. “I was trying to sell antiques in a modern appliance store.” – CNN obituary

Frank Sinatra Jr. had

To reckon with a famous dad.

He found himself a modest place,

But never really cleared the space.

He threw his hat into the ring

And truth to tell, the guy could sing.

Without his father’s famous name

He may have had some Vegas fame.

He had his career, not loved, not hated,

But as his setlist grew more dated

He hoped that folks would want to hear

The antique hits of yesteryear.

Perhaps he should have figured sooner

That he was just another crooner.
