The fans of Morton Feldman find

That music shouldn’t churn or grind,

In fact, it should be so designed

That it is soft and at a pace

Where every sound can have its place,

Within expansive sonic space.

And then these fragile tonal flowers

Should test our meditative powers,

And last, ideally, several hours.
