Johann Hermann Schein (20 January 1586 – 19 November 1630) was a German composer and was Thomaskantor in Leipzig from 1615 to 1630.

Or was such stuff so out of date,
Forgotten and benign,
He never had to contemplate
Herr Thomaskantor Schein?
