Perhaps you’ll think I’m wasting ink

To note a member of NSYNC

Whose career has trouble finding traction

With the boy band out of action.

If this judgment of Lance Bass

Seems a little crude or crass,

Recall that “Dancing with the Stars,”

That lowest low of showbiz bars,

Is something that no star would try

If their career were flying high;

Even cheesy tabloid covers

Shun him and his hunky lovers.

It’s awkward when your fans prefer,

Not who you are, but who you were.
