Guy Lombardo (19 June 1902 – 5 November 1977) was a Canadian-American bandleader and violinist.

On the last day of December,
Played the tune of “Auld Lang Syne”
Accompanied by sparkling wine.
Perhaps it’s sad it got so big
He’s mostly famous for this gig.
