Aram Khachaturian (6 June [O. S. 24 May] 1903 – 1 May 1978) was a Soviet and Armenian composer and conductor. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For the Masses

There’s plenty of bustle and hurry in

The music of A. Kachaturian.

It’s straight-forward and loud

As it pleases the crowd,

And not in the least epicurean.
