It was hell for the ladies who lunch,

Living life without purpose or punch,

And of all of the ladies

Who have sung of that Hades,

Miss Stritch is the best of the bunch.

A Song of Yesteryear

His one huge hit was his song "K-K-K-Katy" (1918), one of the most popular tunes of the World War I era. -- Wikipedia

Today I am happy to share a

Bravo for Geoffrey O’Hara.

It may not be weighty,

But "K-K-K-Katy"

Is the jolliest tune of the era.
