Sidney Jones (17 June 1861 – 29 January 1946) was an English conductor and composer, whose most famous musical was The Geisha.

At a Disadvantage

Jones' song from The Geisha, "The Amorous Goldfish" became an oft-sung hit, as did several of his other songs for these shows. The Geisha took advantage of the fad for oriental settings in musical theatre that had reached a peak in The Mikado in 1885.  – Wikipedia

The biggest hit of Sidney Jones

Is plagued with racist overtones.

How sad this attitude encumbers

A show with such delightful numbers.

Igor Stravinsky (17 June [O.S. 5 June] 1882 – 6 April 1971) was one of the dominant composers of the 20th century

Change

Stravinsky was able to pique

The critics by being so chic

The critical press,

Had a struggled to guess

What his music would sound like next week.

+++++++++++++++++++++

Change Again

The clean neo-Classical style

Which suited his taste for a while,

Was replaced when he thought

That he probably ought

Give serial writing a trial.
