Henry Diltz (b. 6 September 1938) is an American photographer and folk musician, who created some of the most famous images of rock scene in the 1960s and 70s.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shuttering

There are photos that sum up their time,

And to highlight such images, I’m

Today singing praises

In rhythmical phrases,

To Diltz, with my whimsical rhyme.

I hope you don’t think that it’s crass

To praise him in verse of this class,

But creating diversions

In five-line excursions

Is what we pursue here,  Alas!
