Christoph Ernst Friedrich Weyse (5 March 1774 – 8 October 1842) was a Danish composer.
Nine Lives
Weyse’s "Katte-Cavatine" opens the "Cat's Duet" or "Duetto buffo di due gatti” usually attributed to Rossini. - adapted from Wikipedia s.v. “Christoph Ernst Friedrich Weyse” and “Duetto buffo di due gatti“

And here’s to the hope that his authorship soon
Will be linked to that feline hilarity.

With persons misplaced by posterity.
