And Heaven and Nature Sing

"Joy to the World" is usually sung to an 1848 arrangement by the American composer Lowell Mason of a tune attributed to Handel. -- adapted from Wikipedia,s.v. "Joy to the World"

Let your eager fingers hasten

Sounding forth the diapason!

Add the treble and the bass in,

And sing a hymn to Lowell Mason!

Do not let your light grow dim,

Raise your voice with verve and vim!

Be not truculent or grim,

But troll a Lowell Mason hymn!
