Hank Williams (17 September 1923 – 1 January 1953) was one of the most influential singer-songwriters in country music of the last century.

So great a career

While so impaired,

Imagined how

He would have fared

If instead of 

Dereliction,

He had conquered

What he achieved,

Half in the game,

Puts us, with no

Excuse, to shame.
