John Lennon (9 October 1940 – 8 December 1980) was an English singer, songwriter and peace activist. 

Sean Taro Ono Lennon (b. October 9, 1975) is a British-American musician, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist.  He is the son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
