Patty Andrews (16 February 1918 - 30 January 2013) was an American singer and entertainer best known as part of the Andrews Sisters musical trio.

Devoted Sisters

The Andrews Sisters, LaVerne, Maxene, and Patty, grew up in Mound, Minnesota.  They spent all of their summers here from 1917 through 1931.  --- twincitiesmusichighlights.net

Before a radio had transistors,

Music by the Andrews Sisters

Gave the nation, shore to shore,

Esprit de corps to win the war.

I wonder if a shrine is found

In their little town of Mound,

Where Maxene, Patty, and LaVerne

Receive remembrance in their turn.

Today I'd though I'd do my part,

In my facetious metric art,

And so I tried a verse for Patty,

But lack of rhyme words made me batty,

And that is why I’m going to wish a

Happy Birthday to Patricia!
