Dennis Day (21 May 1916 – 22 June 1988) was an American actor, comedian and singer of of Irish descent.
'Tis Like the Morn in Spring
An Irish tenor might employ
His voice in songs that some enjoy
Like “Irish Eyes” or “Danny Boy”,
And yet, in fairness, one can say
A little goes a long, long way,
And this is true of Dennis Day.
