Thurl Ravenscroft (6 February 1914 – 22 May 2005) was an American actor and bass singer. He was well known as one of the booming voices behind Kellogg's Frosted Flakes animated spokesman Tony the Tiger.

Who(?)ville

He was also the uncredited vocalist for the song "You're a Mean One, Mr, Grinch" from the classic Christmas television special Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas. -- Wikipedia

Ravenscroft was left uncredited

When the final cut was edited.

Regardless how the thing took place,

The situation’s a disgrace

To Ravenscroft’s distinctive bass.

Apologies for this abuse

Should be protracted and profuse

From friends and heirs of Dr. Seuss.
