William Schwenck Gilbert (18 November 1836 – 29 May 1911) was an English dramatist, librettist,  poet and illustrator best known for his collaboration with Arthur Sullivan, which produced fourteen comic operas. -- Wikipedia

While at lost for suitable rhyme,

He averred, "Mr. Sullivan, I'm

Done racking brains

For your Savoy refrains,

I'm writing next time for a mime!"
