Get in Shape

Walker's The Southern Harmony (1835) and The Christian Harmony (1866-67) have been in continuous use since publication. - adapted from Wikipedia

William Walker earned his niche

For hymns and songs in shape note pitch.

His book from 1835

Is still in use, is still alive,

With faithful followers still clinging

To older norms of sacred singing

In church, and with the loyal lobby

Who sing his music as a hobby.
