Manipulating sounds on tape
To give each noise a novel shape,
Was labeled as musique concrète,
As avant-garde as you could get.
The tape, meticulously sliced,
Was looped and rearranged and spliced,
And with some expert hocus pocus
Was reassembled as an opus.
