Vincent Youmans (27 September 1898 – 5 April 1946) was a Broadway composer and producer.
More Than You Know
I’m sure it’s safe to guess that you
Can sing the tune for “Tea for Two”,
Or maybe even try to croak a
Little bit of “Carioca”,
Perhaps, although you know it’s sappy,
You sometimes hum “Sometimes I’m Happy”,
Or maybe shyly croon along
When someone sings “Without a Song”;
If this is you, you’ll know that Youmans
Wrote snappy songs for happy humans.
