The bobby-soxers flailed and swooned
Whenever Frank Sinatra crooned.
Than, after such a raucous start
He had a major change of heart;
His 45s were a la carte
But albums could be works of art,
Conceived together part by part.
And later still, a touch less classy,
His Vegas act was swung and brassy.
