Zoltán Kodály (16 December 1882 – 6 March 1967) was a Hungarian composer, ethnomusicologist, music pedagogue,, linguist, and philosopher.
Accentuation Situation
Pronunciation of Kodály: (UK: /ˈkoʊdaɪ/, US: /koʊˈdaɪ/; Hungarian:[ˈkodaːj] -- Wikipedia
Placing the accent in Kodály’s name
Is confusing. The rules are unclear. It
Varies its stress, so it isn’t the same
Depending on where you might hear it.
Whichever you choose, the U.S. or U.K.,
You’ll sound like a uncouth barbarian
To anyone hearing who happens to be
A Hungarian.

Ludwig van Beethoven’s (16 December 1770 – 26 March 1827) birthday is generally celebrated on December 16, although there is no documentary proof of the date. We know for certain he was baptized on the 17th.
Tale from the Vienna Woods
Many of his musical ideas came to him on long country walks and were noted in sketchbooks. -- britannica.com
"O ye men who think or say that I am malevolent, stubborn or misanthropic, how greatly do you wrong me." -- Beethoven
When Beethoven walked through the field
He was hopeful that Nature would yield
A motive, a theme, or phrase
That would set his whole being ablaze.
When a man and his Muse are exulting,
To disturb him is rude and insulting,
And country folk seeing him stride
Would tactfully step to one side.
