Arthur Benjamin (18 September 1893 – 10 April 1960) was an Australian composer, pianist, conductor and teacher.

Arthur Benjamin, from Down Under,
Had a career that makes one wonder --
He lived in Canada and Britain,
But is known for having written
That famous little jaunty numba
Which he called “Jamaican Rumba.”
