Underachiever

Despite his acknowledged genius as an organist, improviser and composer, his income and employment were unstable and he died in poverty.  -- Wikipedia

Wilhelm Friedemann Bach,

   Sebastian’s eldest son,

Didn’t have the great success

You’d think he might have done.

With genetics in his favor,

    Potential hopes were big,

But something of a ne’er-do-well,

   He couldn’t keep a gig.

Guess Who

No matter how tricky or tough,

His piano technique is enough.

And due to the rhyme

You’ve figured that I’m

Extolling the great Stephen Hough.
