Though Peter Cornelius wrote other things,

He’s chiefly renowned for his song “The Three Kings.”

Its seasonal nature assists its survival

In somewhat ambivalent yearly revival.


If your name is remembered for only one hit,

Something for Christmastide should surely be it.
