Anton Webern (3 December 1883 – 15 September 1945) was one of the most important composers of the 20th century.
Youthful Folly
Only weeks after completing this work, Webern met the 30-year-old Schoenberg and became his pupil. In his critique of Im Sommerwind Schoenberg expressed the opinion that the young composer had here reached a stylistic dead-end, a realization that had already dawned on Webern. He never tried to have it performed or published, but kept it as a memento of his youth. – Herbert Glass, at Hollywoodbowl.com
When Webern wrote “Im Sommerwind”
His teacher told him he had sinned.
He made a promise, there and then,
To never never write in keys again.

Andy Williams (3 December 1927 – 25 September 2012) was an popular American singer.
Knowing Your Audience
In his signature anthem “Moon River”
Andy Williams could stand and deliver;
And though it was bland
It was part of his brand
And it set all of Branson a-quiver.
