Conlon Nancarrow (27 October 1912 – 10 August 1997) was an experimental composer

Nancarrow is best remembered for being one of the first composers to use auto-playing musical instruments (e.g. player pianos), realizing their potential to play extremely complex rhythmic patterns at a speed far beyond the abilities of humans. – adapted from Wikipedia
