They’re very proud indeed in Zerbst

   Of Johann Friedrich Fasch,

Who was a Zerbster half his life,

   (It’s quite unfair to josh!).

They have a grand Society

   And Festival, and gosh!

I'm sure they try to do the thing

With suitable panache,

Though folks from nearby Pakendorf

Contend it's only bosh.
