But Not Forgotten

If you know about Benjamin Carr,

Then what an exception you are!

He’s faded from view,

But it’s people like you

Who keep him from sinking too far!

Promises, Promises

In 1794 he began publishing "a new song every Monday". This particular "each Monday" series, however, only lasted 5 weeks. -- excerpted from Wikipedia

He had the idea that he’d seek

To publish a song every week;

He kept it alive

Through week number five...

And that was the end of the streak!
