Georg Christoph Bach (6 September 1642 – 27 April 1697) was a German composer and organist. He was the uncle of J. S. Bach.
And You Must Be….
When the Bachs got together,
I’m wondering whether
It caused them disorientation.
With a family so big,
(And each man in a wig),
Did they wear some identification?
And I ask, was Georg Christoph
A little bit pissed off
(As they mingled about by the dozen),
When he was called Johann
Or Heinrich (and so on)
By some erring uncle or cousin?
