Antonio Vivaldi (4 March 1678 – 28 July 1741) remains one of the most loved composers of the Baroque era.
Seasonal Cycles
Our classical station is clear
That they play what the folks want to hear,
Which is one of the reasons

Comes back again year after year.

In 1704, a year after his ordination, he was given a dispensation from celebrating Mass most likely because of his ill health. Vivaldi said Mass as a priest only a few times, and appeared to have withdrawn from liturgical duties, though he remained a member of the priesthood. -- adapted from Wikipedia
Vivaldi, for health, was released
From the duties of being a priest,
And yet the miasma
Of bronchial asthma
Didn’t slow down his pen in the least.

Mario Davidovsky (4 March 1934 – 23 August 2019) was an Argentine-American composer , best known for his series of compositions called Synchronisms, which in live performance incorporate both acoustic instruments and electroacoustic sounds played from a tape.
Is It Live or Is It…?
Davidovsky’s Synchronisms
Endeavor to escape
The limitless unshrinking schisms
Of blending live with tape.
